Charles F. Phelps, Jr
President: Charlie has been in the Shopping Center industry for several decades, covering every aspect of Retail Real Estate. He has earned and received ICSCs Certified Leasing Specialist designation "CLS". He has been a member of ICSC for over 30 years. He works extensively with many national retailers including The Fresh Market, Cabela’s and Alamo Theaters. He is responsible for the client’s roll out of stores from strategic store placement to land purchases, site selection, and lease negotiations. Prior to founding Paraclete Realty in 1999, he worked for other boutique retail real estate firms. He works with CRC Companies, Nellis Corporation and others and has represented national landlords, including Brixmor, Kimco Realty Corporation, and others. Charlie is a graduate of Boston College with a degree in finance. He is licensed in the states of Delaware, Florida, Maryland, and Virginia as well as the District of Columbia.
Vice President, Leasing: Andrea joined Paraclete Realty in 2011 and primarily specializes in tenant representation throughout the Virginia,DC, And Maryland. She holds a Business Management Degree with a Concentration in Organization, Leadership & Management from Regent University. She is also a member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
She currently represents regional landlords including CRC Companies and Nellis Corporation. She works with a number of tenants including McDonald’s Corporation, Corner Market & Pharmacy, Planet Fitness, MetroPCS, Bruster’s Ice Cream, Zoup!, Alliance Rehabilitation and others offering site selection and negotiation services.
Michael D. Lowery
Michael joined Paraclete Realty in 2017 following 4 years with Long & Foster and has a background working with retail business owners nationally. For over 3 decades his marketing, merchandising, and business planning knowledge has helped retail stores accomplish and exceed their business goals. During his tenure of over 20 years with Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America, Michael worked closely with national and regional distributors and hundreds of their respective retail dealers. Then, Michael worked as the liaison for the largest retail buying group in the country, with over 3,500 members operating more than 10,000 store fronts and $15 billion in combined annual sales. Currently, he represents landlords, tenants, sellers, and buyers in transactions with an emphasis on retail real estate.
