President: Charlie has over 27 years experience in the Shopping Center industry, covering every aspect of Retail Real Estate. He has earned and received ICSC's Certified Leasing Specialist designation "CLS". He has represented national landlords, including Centro (formerly Kramont REIT), Kimco Realty Corporation, and Saul Centers. He works extensively with many national retailers including The Fresh Market, Mattress Giant, Ace Hardware, Jo-Ann Fabrics, Cabela's and Tuesday Morning. He is responsible for land purchases, site selection, lease negotiations, and tenant relations. Prior to Paraclete Realty he worked for H&R Retail, Inc. and Mid Atlantic Realty Trust, now owned by Kimco. Charlie is a graduate of Boston College with a degree in finance. He is licensed in the states of Delaware, Florida, Maryland, and Virginia as well as the District of Columbia.

Leasing Specialist: Scott Garfield has been a broker since early 2004, joining Paraclete in September 2005. Prior to that, Scott was a Retailer, the owner and COO of a Maryland-based ice cream company, Lee's Ice Cream. His responsibilities included the development of new retail ice cream parlors, the site selection of their properties, the negotiation of leases, the development of new business, the control of production, the control of inventory at the manufacturing and retail levels, the long-term growth strategy of the company, the day-to-day operations of the firm, planning and budgeting of the company, purchasing, sales, marketing and brand awareness. Scott has a network of relationships with developers, landlords and leasing agents throughout the Mid-Atlantic states.

Gary started his career as a real estate representative for numerous retailers such as Acme Markets, Mobil Oil, Dart Drug, Drug Fair, Duron Paints, and Frank's Nursery and Crafts. After representing those numerous retailers Gary moved to shopping center development, working for such developers as Western Development, Compson Development, Redstone Development and GFS Realty, Inc., the real estate development division of Giant Food. At GFS Realty Inc., he was responsible for the leasing and property management of 2.5 million square feet of shopping center space. Tom McLeod:Tom has spent his entire career in retail from the west coast to the east coast operating franchised stores to managing over 600 company operated 7-eleven stores. During that time he spent 15 years managing real estate departments as one of his support functions to operations. Other departments included marketing, human resources and accounting. The real estate function included capital budgeting, expansion, leasing, purchasing, development and construction. He most recently was Real Estate Manager for the privately held The Fresh Market in Greensboro, NC now operating 80 gourmet grocery stores in 14 states throughout the eastern United States.
